Polynucleotide - Enhance Skin Elasticity | UMI Clinic, Petersfield

Ameela polynucleotide treatment is a ground-breaking addition to the new generation of injectables, a polynucleotide treatment unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, which does not add volume but instead activates your skin’s regenerative capacity.

It can regenerate collagen, offering brightening effects by stimulating your skin’s natural repair process. At Umi Clinic in Petersfield in Hampshire, we are pleased to offer the cutting-edge technology offered by Ameela treatment.

How do Polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotide injectables can strengthen and recondition your skin without causing puffiness, restoring skin tone and elasticity.

Polynucleotide treatment can tackle a variety of skin issues such as fine wrinkles and lines, dark under eye circles and eye puffiness. It can be used in areas including the face, hair, neck and hands. Ameela is one of the first injectable boosters suitable for the delicate under eye area.

Polynucleotides FAQs
What happens during treatment?

The polynucleotide treatment is carefully administered by injection in the most comfortable way possible, by our experienced clinician Dr Bita Farazd, to minimise any discomfort. The treatment area can be prepared with numbing gel and the injected area will be gently massaged after the treatment. Only trained practitioners should perform injectable treatments as they require in-depth knowledge of anatomy and a detailed facial examination. Dr Farzad has the skill and aesthetic eye to achieve natural looking results.

What results can I expect from polynucleotide treatment?

The benefits you experience depend on the area treated. They may include restored skin tone and elasticity, smoother, tighter skin, reduced pigmentation, reduced dark under-eye circles, and a fresher youthful look. Each person reacts differently to injectables, therefore a review 2 to 4 weeks after a single treatment is generally recommended to determine if more product is needed. Usually more than one session is required to achieve results, depending on your personal treatment plan.

How long will the effects of Ameela treatment last?

Generally, following two treatments, you could leave approximately 6 months between each subsequent treatment.

Are there any side effects to polynucleotide injectables?

Common side effects can be temporary tenderness, slight bruising or swelling.
